Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Oct 02 2023

I can appreciate it as a classic for its time but it wasn't my cup of tea.

1989 by Taylor Swift

Psychocandy by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Oct 12 2023

At the end of the album, my Spotify put on a new song at random and I immediately knew Psychocandy had finished because I was enjoying the new song.

The Slider by T. Rex
Oct 13 2023

I thought I liked T. Rex, but this album really bugged me. I can't put my finger on exactly why; perhaps a bit repetitive, and the vocals a bit whiney for my taste? All I know is that I was happy when it finished.

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Oct 17 2023

A tad too chaotic for my taste but some of those rounds gave me goosebumps.

Oct 18 2023

I liked the overall sound of the band. Loved the guitar; the singer often sounded like he'd had one too many beers and got up to sing karaoke. It was odd that all the songs ran into each other... hard to distinguish between one ending and another beginning. The lyrics leave a lot to be desired... "Twinkle twinkle, blah blah blah, E T C" I mean... 'You need the glory', wtf was that all about?? Overall, I liked it, but I wouldn't listen again.

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Oct 19 2023

Loved the first track. Wasn't as much of a fan as the second.

Oct 20 2023

Why does the ending to 'On Some Faraway Beach' sound like an annoying kid playing a keyboard they found in the other kid's room at the party their parents took them to?

Dummy by Portishead
Oct 23 2023

This grew on me. I particularly liked It Could Be Sweet, Roads and Glory Box.

Casanova by The Divine Comedy
Nov 01 2023

I really liked the melodies, but the singer often reminded me of a drunk uncle making up his own song at karaoke. Throughout this entire album, I went between "This is quite good!" to "Wtf am I listening to". Overall I enjoyed it, and I would listen to a good few of these songs again 👍🏻
