Timeless

A lot of catchy songs, but nothing groundbreaking by today's standards. Just a very VERY good rock album.

Certainly a good OST, but for me, lacks substance as a stand-alone project. As an OST: 4/5 For the sake of this website: 2/5 (Dead Bodies almost bumps this to a 3)

Jazz, but make it dance! Absolutely love this. It's fun, exciting, bombastic. Never heard this before but think I need this in my collection!

I don't love thrash/industrial metal, but there's elements I really enjoy. It's a fine line to walk for me between unlistenable and absolute banger. A band like Slipknot will make some of my favorite tracks and then half the album is offensive noise. But I think it's that willingness to make something truly "awful" that leads to so many great and memorable tracks. Likewise, this album starts really strong with N.W.O and Just One Fix, before assaulting your ears with TV II then getting into the weird shit (and fun campy Rob Zombie-ish sound with Jesus Built My Hotrod). I want to like this album more but with so much chaos it wears you down, and the back half just starts to feel like a drag.

I love everything about this band, but I'm not sure this album belongs with some of the others in this list. The hits are FANTASTIC, the nots are just sorta there.

Found this one to be much less offensive than Bitches Brew, though it did ultimately just blend into the background while I worked. As far as jazz albums go this was one of the better I've heard, it's just not the genre for me. Solid 3/5
