It was fine. It didn't really capture my imaginatoin.

It had its moments. I didn't need to be lectured about gentrification, though.

Solsbury Hill is fine, but otherwise this isn't the most exciting album.

This was definitely a rock album released in the mid 80s.

Normally a fully instrumental album would get an automatic one star, but this has the poltergeist theme.

Sonic Youth were always a band on the peripheral of my listening. They're good and raw, but this album is too long. If it were more focused I could give it four or five stars.

The second half is much better than the first half, but that's because he had The Band backing him. I'm always 50/50 on live albums, but this was fine.

This is Van Halen's Second best album after Diver Down and has Ice Cream Man which is enough to give it five stars.
