1001 Albums Summary

One of the greatest openings of an album. - Smells Like Teen Spirit is one of the greatest grunge songs of all time. - Come as you are is great at it's lyrics and melody. The agressive and soothing melody fits perfectly with the song's theme. - "Today i've found my friends, they're in my head." - "Never met a wise man, if so it's a woman." - "Something in the way, yeah." - Phenomenal album, if i could describe it with only one word, it would be 'freedom'.

Too unorganized, like they don't know what they really want to sound like, although they certainly nail some melodies on some songs. Favourite song(s): The Spark That Bled.

Boring and it sounds uninspired.

Absolute peak storytelling and lyricism. One of the greatest albums ever made. Every single song is masterfully crafted. "I hope the universe love you today" "Consequences from evil will make your past haunt ya" "The streets sure to release the worst side of my best"

It has a very defined vibe from the start and does everything it sets out to do. Each track, no matter how explosive, fits and complements the next extremely well. Favourite tracks: Smack My Bitch Up, Diesel Power, Serial Thrilla, Mindfields, Narayan, Climbatize, Fuel My Fire.

Cohen's style doesn't grip me, even with the beautiful and intricate lyrics.

Favourite songs: Where I End and You Begin; A Punch Up at a Wedding;

Powerfully constructed songs and creative lyrics makes it a great album. Favourite songs: Dancing With The Moonlit Knight; Aisle of Plenty.

Undoubtfully very well constructed, but it needed something more. Didn't grip me.

Some intricate lyrics, but not a lot to really grasp me.

Album is carried by Norah Jones charismatic voice, but overral there isn't anything special in it. Favourite song(s): I've Got To See You Again, Cold Cold Heart, Don't Know Why.
