1001 Albums Summary

This is one of those albums I've kind of heard already, because it's full of bangers that have appeared *everywhere* over the years. Heard in the order they were designed to, it becomes even more apparent just what a revelation this must have been upon release. The Stones have always been cool to me, and this just cements that coolness even further.

A couple of songs that I never got into, but my goodness, The Beatles in their prime is something to behold.

Most of the time, I have a difficulty distinguishing where one Metallica song ends and another begins. This is one of those times. It's... fine? I guess.

It's a solid album, but totally not my thing.

I loved this album as a kid, and listening to it is tied to that youthful nostalgia. It's not as world shaping now as it was back then, but damn if it isn't still one hell of an album.

It's loud, and the guitars are blaring, but it's just... too... dad rock for me.

It sounds like what I'd imagine the waiting music for a German train line would sound. Not my thing.

I can hear the 90s and the Jon Brion-y feels, but... it's just not for me.
