Liked Tracks - Lover You Should've Come Over, Eternal Life
Not Liked - Corpus Christi Carol
He's got a great voice but it's not really hooking me.
I mean, It's Dark Side of the Moon. It's a classic. Still think I prefer The Wall though. If you play it at the same time as Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 you will have a religious experience.
Liked Songs - Time, Great Gig in the Sky, Money, Us and Them, And Colour you Like, Brain Damage, Eclipse
Its good, but I think I need to listen to it a lot more before I say its one of the greatest albums of all time but, in my opinion.
I understand why that Ted Shmosby made it a requirement to like this guy. What a voice
I mean its Stevie so its good. But I definitely think there are better Stevie albums. Boogie on Reggae Woman and You havent done nothin go fucking hard though
Has some good songs, but bloody hell is it long. I'd rate it 5/10 if it would let me
I feel like the importance of this album is kind of lost on me 70 odd years removed from it coming out. I can appreciate the arranging and performances, but I don't know, It just sounds like a great soul album to me, not one of the greatest of all time.
Didn't expect to like that as much as I did. A lot of those songs fucking rip
It's like if Daft Punk did the soundtrack for the original Tron. Usually not a huge fan of ambient music but it wasn't bad
Definitely an album where the whole is greater then the sum of its parts. I wouldn't ever really choose a individual song to just listen to other then Green Light, but the album as a whole is really solid
Normally I love Jazz Rap, but I dont know, its not really grabbing me. To me a lot of the songs pretty much just sound the exact same.
Its like if Smooth FM was an album. I love her voice and i can appreciate the songwriting, but its pretty boring for the most part. Didnt despise listening to it but
I dont hate it, but I feel so far removed from the culture I got no idea what to really feel about it. When I saw that this dude has a song that goes for longer then an hour I actually got scared. Its impressive shit and obviously very important, but its lost on me
Yeah, pretty unessential.
I think if I listen to this more it could be a 5.
Pretty good country album
