Reggatta De Blanc by The Police
Oct 21 2023

Way more Ska and reggae influence then I expected. On any other day is v modern and I really liked it tbh. Didn't expect to only know one song off it. 3.75?

I'm Your Man by Leonard Cohen
Oct 22 2023

1.25/1.5 not for me. I like the harmonies and come aspects. Idk man he ain't that good

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Oct 23 2023

Love love love. Always think I'm listening to Bowie but an album I love either way. Always fun. 4? 4.25?

Oct 24 2023

It's fine. Obviously love Sisco kid and rest was a vibe. Nothing insane. Solid 3

Blur by Blur
Oct 25 2023

Doesn't sound like the blur I know. In a good way though. Fun rock album that can be left on loop. 3.75/4

Bossanova by Pixies
Oct 26 2023

3.25? I liked it but it none of the songs were particularly unique or ones I'd purposefully pull up. Good background store music

Endtroducing..... by DJ Shadow
Oct 27 2023

Good for store. Didn't really care one way or another. Solid 3

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Oct 28 2023

V atmospheric, almost beatles like w the harmonies. V chill and good background. Also happy and fun. Solid 4

The Idiot by Iggy Pop
Oct 29 2023

No annoying songs, overall a good vibe that's more chill than expected. Thankfully no screaming. 3.5 or 4, will listen to again

Manassas by Stephen Stills
Oct 30 2023

With the exception of the final song this could have just been a csny album. Overall fine but pretty samey 3.25

Queen II by Queen
Oct 31 2023

Anything not sung by Freddy isn't the vibe. All vocals and guitar is godlike. 4.25? 4.5? Not a 5 since Freddy wasn't lead on all songs

All Directions by The Temptations
Nov 01 2023

Good for a car ride, Mother Nature was probably my favorite but there were a lot of songs that were just okay as well. I love The Temptations' earlier works than this, however. Solid 3

1999 by Prince
Nov 02 2023

Definitely was the baby before the full-blown beauty of Purple Rain. A lot more radio hit-type songs, again some sameiness. Really vibed with more of the songs on the latter half of the album, sounds more like standard Prince tbh. 3 or 3.25ish

Actually by Pet Shop Boys
Nov 03 2023

Definitely like the femininity roxxy music of the first half of the album. Becomes a bit muddled together towards the end and I didn't find any song really sticking out. Solid 2.75 or 3

Nov 04 2023

Have listened to it probably 50 times and still love it every time. 4.25 or higher? Banger after banger, no skips

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Nov 05 2023

Already have it on loop. Definitely drags toward the end and contemplated skipping the last song. More rock than I expected in the best way possible. 4 or 4.25ish

Safe As Milk by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
Nov 08 2023

A very pleasant mix of the Doors, Animals, and Ben E. King. Got completed for playing it and will definitely listen again. 4.75

Duck Rock by Malcolm McLaren
Nov 09 2023

Weird good background stuff. Love all the sampling as usual. Think I've heard this before but great songs anyway. 3.75 or 4

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Nov 10 2023

No notes. Pleasantly surprised with every single song. So simple and great. 5 stars
