1001 Albums Summary

Way more Ska and reggae influence then I expected. On any other day is v modern and I really liked it tbh. Didn't expect to only know one song off it. 3.75?

V atmospheric, almost beatles like w the harmonies. V chill and good background. Also happy and fun. Solid 4

No annoying songs, overall a good vibe that's more chill than expected. Thankfully no screaming. 3.5 or 4, will listen to again

With the exception of the final song this could have just been a csny album. Overall fine but pretty samey 3.25

Anything not sung by Freddy isn't the vibe. All vocals and guitar is godlike. 4.25? 4.5? Not a 5 since Freddy wasn't lead on all songs

Good for a car ride, Mother Nature was probably my favorite but there were a lot of songs that were just okay as well. I love The Temptations' earlier works than this, however. Solid 3

Definitely was the baby before the full-blown beauty of Purple Rain. A lot more radio hit-type songs, again some sameiness. Really vibed with more of the songs on the latter half of the album, sounds more like standard Prince tbh. 3 or 3.25ish

Definitely like the femininity roxxy music of the first half of the album. Becomes a bit muddled together towards the end and I didn't find any song really sticking out. Solid 2.75 or 3

Have listened to it probably 50 times and still love it every time. 4.25 or higher? Banger after banger, no skips

Already have it on loop. Definitely drags toward the end and contemplated skipping the last song. More rock than I expected in the best way possible. 4 or 4.25ish

A very pleasant mix of the Doors, Animals, and Ben E. King. Got completed for playing it and will definitely listen again. 4.75
