Station To Station
David BowieStill can't get into David Bowie. Enjoyed the R to L panning of train sounds in the intro. One standout was the track TCV15. Wouldn't go out of my way to listen the entire album again.

I can't say I was excited to listen to this album, thanks to the ubiquitous nature of classic rock. You can't escape it. Commercials love it. TV loves it. Movies love it. It becomes the background music for a new vacuum cleaner or Tide Pod. Listening to the album reminded me of where it started. Snake boot wearing, long haired, drugged out party animals giving a skull-ringed middle finger to the very lifestyle that their music now is inextricably associated with. Appreciation for this album had been planted. I'm glad I listened to this today.
I guess I'm not a Foo Fighters fan. No problem, but nothing to write home about. Neutral.
Quintessential 80s electro pop. Not much soul. Lyrics sung without much emotion. Feels like a formula for 80s movie background soundtrack. I don't feel anything listening to this.
Starts off with Ode to the Sun God, I got the feeling like it was going to be a modern synth-and-pads spa album. It quickly shifts to a dulcimer lead journey through 'the valley'. Middle eastern inspired chord structures with western jazz influences. Ode to the Sun God is a grab-bag of musical experiences: electronic, acoustic, middle eastern, jazz, call-and-response...it manages to contain all of this in a single track successfully, creating a immersive journey which feels authentic...not chintzy. Within the first track, I'm hooked to continue listening. This is the type of discovery I was hoping for from this album generator.
The part of 90s alternative that sounds too much like pop...like a highschool band. Not for me.
If you love elton, you'll love this.
Everything you love about Beck in one album. Which is funny because I thought I knew Beck, but now I'm not certain I ever did. This was a easy win, go-buy-the-vinyl, album. Hints of Gorillaz, Cake, Sublime. Loved the album.
No need for notes.
Enjoyed this one, reminded me of Radiohead and Sufjan Stevens mixed together
All the best from CCR
