1001 Albums Summary

Paper cut - sounds like one I’d consider for a ‘cool feeling’ playlist. Quite grungy. One Step Closer - I’ve actually heard the main line from this but never knew it was Linkin Park. Not too into it so far. With you - felt kinda sameish, not convinced. Points of Authority - maybe the best so far? Can’t really remember Crawling - best intro so far. Falls off with the angry screamy vocals, but the normal vocals are much better. Favourite so far. Runaway - pretty repetitive. Be myself - good verse, pretty odd sounding chorus. In the end - another one that I knew beforehand but didn’t know was them. This one sounds pretty good. A place for My Head - I realise I like the fast paced vocals, but the screechy vocals really take away from the album Forgotten - literally sounds like the last one. Cure for the Itch - the glitchy sounds are cool. I like that this one is more instrumental. The piano is a welcome change. Pushing Me Away - the chorus isn’t as screamy as usual!

Promenade Pt. 1 - sounds very holy with the organ. Weird that the only version of the album is live. The Gnome - can’t imagine myself listening to this in any circumstance really, but sounds like a video game so far which is cool. Promenade Pt. 2 - i actually like the sacred vibe of this one, sounds more Eastern. The vocals really add to the song. The Sage - cool intro. I like this one a bit more as well, the vocals and guitar instrumental sound nice. The Old Castle - the song literally passed by without me noticing. Blues variation - funky and jazzy, absolutely love this one. Promenade Pt. 3 - very triumphant, like it. The hut of Baba Yaga Pt. 1 - very chaotic and fun, I’m starting to see why people liked this. The curse of Baba Yaga - genuinely might listen to this again at some point, when I’m playing a game or something. It just sounds fun. The hut of Baba Yaga Pt. 2 - even more chaotic, even more fun. The Great Gates of Kiev - an interesting one, can’t hack the long songs personally but it’s alright. Nutrocker - I like this one, sounds kind of blues-y in parts. Fun with lots of energy.

First half of the album sounds too sameish. Just hard rock. Not rating this one too highly, the songs all sound too similar. Maybe two good songs on the album.

This definitely has potential to be my kind of thing. Sounds fun, like a cooler version of lizzo. She kinda gives TPain vibes and I’m liking it. Put it down and pick up your feelings have been good so far. On it sounds good but I’m pretty sure it’s just about shagging. Price tags is unfortunately not my favourite, but Anderson Paak’s bit was good.

I mean come on… It’s like this was made for me to like. Just listening to the first song this might be a 5 for me
