1001 Albums Summary

a few goated tracks, also some mid and forgettable tracks lyrics did not age well good samples especially on express yourself the style is a little too on the nose gangsta rap for me which makes sense cuz it was the first one to do it but still 3/5

The fact that it is a live album immediately takes away points as some songs go on too long which is great when live but gets repetitive listening at home, also dont need to hear the talking and audience between songs. Guitar and drums are great and generally solid sound/vibe but nothing that really grabs me. Think I would enjoy it a lot more in a studio version so looking forward to other The Who albums. For example, My Generation: really like the studio version but just sounded off here.

Great opener, enjoyed most tracks after it. Really like the voice. Really good instrumentation. A few songs were a bit too boring to rate it a 5.

Goes hard at times but some songs get way too repetitive, alright for zoning out too but boring to actively listen. Best parts of the album are when there's actually lyrics.

already loved clint eastwood and i thought the rest of the album would go harder but its kinda mid only a few other songs that stood out to me

Generally meh, a few good songs, also a few that were just unpleasant to listen to

Ngl I skimmed through this, it’s fine for background music but not something like I’d ever choose

Nothing really bad that stands out, nothing really good either, just a decent album.
