I think the production is underappreciated in amy winehouse's music, but her vocal ability adds a nice icing to the mascara running cake
Little rough around the edges and packs some meat, but has a lot of great elements that inspire a lot of bands I like today
Nice little country folk album. Didn't blow me away, but I liked it.
Swing and a miss. The instrumentation was cluttered and the vocals were drawn out and sloppy.
Pretty boring. Mostly feel-good stadium rock that is stale and doesn't go in any direction.
Interesting hearing the start of the Elvis revolution. Elvis's debut album is mix of slow intimate songs sprinkled with high energy hip shaking songs. Not a cohesive album, but a good listen.
Solid album. The songwriting is a little weak on side b
They are a great rock band. It's just not the type of rock that I am into.
There are some gold nuggets in there, but overall, an ok album
Talks the talk more than it walks the wall. It's decent, but didn't wow me
This is slightly more elevated than a dollar bin album, but not more than a $2 bin album.
Mostly pretty cringe. The lyrics are pretty horrendous. The production is ok, but doesn't hold up
Love me some Sufjan Stevens. I have his album beginners mind on vinyl. Given his discography, this one is middle of the road for me
Full of groovy bangers
Not for me. Sounds like they threw in the kitchen sink and random words and pine to string up some songs
It's fine. Just don't like classic rock. Also doesn't really hold up to the test of time in my opinion.
Jack White played yeti season before his concert, and I watched one of my favorite bands (Geese) at third man records, so he has a great taste in music. However when it comes to his own music, in particular this album, it doesn't quite connect with me. In particular the song writing doesn't really stand out to me as being novel or exciting.
Probably a hot take, but I thought it was pretty one dimensional and lazy
Pretty fun and groovy. It is a little outdated, but for the most part it still holds up
