1001 Albums Summary

Similar to the summer vibe of Madame Butterfly that I was just chasing. It may have something that would work for my 2024 choreographers' concert piece if it was made instrumental. It relaxes me and I love his conversational tone. The songs are a perfect length.

I enjoy the song Alright to some degree. Otherwise, and I don’t know if it’s the mood I’m in, but I find this album hard to listen to.

Always happy to learn the origin of an influential track. In this case, its "Bitter Sweet Symphony". I was actually blown away by it right out of the gate and was hoping the rest of the album kept that momentum.

Once again, interesting to hear a classic. Otherwise, I didn't find it very interesting.

Has the feeling of an epic story taking place in "another world". I didn't personally enjoy it very much but it is a journey through and through. I may refer back to it for dance music.

Reminds me of buskers in the park

Can't wait to listen to this one more and I love the title track.

He has a unique voice and the songs didn’t stick around too long. However I just couldn’t get through it because I was scared. I guess this is a sign of powerful art but it’s not for me in this moment

Pretty much no notes. I didn’t check what the time period was on this at first and I honestly couldn’t tell. But, it fulfills one of my main desires which is for 70s-80s vibes in actual high song quality. Very varied and luscious.

Probably the 60s drug culture music that we studied in class. Just not that interesting to me but I do not hate it.

Perfect album for pondering nature on a dark, melancholy day.

I struggled to understand other reviews, thinking the album was perfectly listenable, then it went onto the goose song. I thought the interludes about the history of the origins of certain tracks were interesting but this is just not for me.
