Live And Dangerous by Thin Lizzy
Dec 05 2023

Never heard this album before. Solid live album. Added it to the general Spotify lists. I will be going back to this one in the future

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground
Dec 06 2023

This was a rough listen. Lots of songs and not one lifted me or got me adding it to a playlist. The Dylanesq vocals, jam band, and often chaotic vibe didn’t resonate for me.

Next by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band
Dec 13 2023

Wildly irreverent, theatrical, unhinged musical experience. Not really my style but the instruments and vocals are varied and good. Gang bang and giddy up a ding dong had me shocked and entertained. May not be for you but definitely has a place and assuredly an influence on bands that came after it.

1999 by Prince
Dec 14 2023

It’s Prince, what’s not to love. Solid album. Musically diverse, funky, sexy, cool. 4 stars

In It For The Money by Supergrass
Dec 15 2023

Solid album. Great rock band. Excellent vocals, and musicality. I didn’t know about this band, I am now a fan. Would probably give a 3.5 if that was available.

Brothers by The Black Keys
Dec 18 2023

I am already a Black Keys fan. Elements of blues, rock and folk got me adding songs I already liked and adding new ones. This kind of album makes you want to explore the rest of them to find more of the same sound. 3.5

My Generation by The Who
Dec 19 2023

Solid album and considering the year it came out it’s pretty heavy. I liked it. Found elements of blues and rock in there I definitely appreciate.

The College Dropout by Kanye West
Dec 20 2023

The production, the features, the beats the lyrics. The albums was fire when it dropped and still holds up. I can’t entertain or stand current Ye, but this album I will listen to for a long time. Belongs in the all time list somewhere for sure.
