Pretty solid album, includes the well known songs 'Wouldn't It be Nice' and 'God Only Knows'. My personal standouts are 'Here Today' and 'I Just Wasn't Made or These Times'.
My first experience of Nick Cave's music and I intend to listen to many more of his albums. With the first track initially I was concerned the album might be a bit too religious for me to enjoy but this was not tue case. Some great songs, my favourites being: 'Cannibal's Hymn' 'Hiding All Away' 'Let the Bells Ring' 'The Lyre of Orpheus' 'Easy Money' and of course the beautiful 'O Children'. On first listen some of the tracks felt like they went on a bit to long/were a bit filler. This wasn't as bad on my second listen and I really enjoyed the entire album with the same standout tracks. 4/5 (High 7/10)
Bob Dylan's iconic second album. I really great piece and work/art and one of my favourites from what I've listened too of Dylan's discography. Can't get enough of 'Masters if War' either.
Not really an album for me. There were parts I liked, 'Venus In Furs' being the best and a great track for me and 'There She Goes Again' was enjoyable. There were parts I wanted to like as well but then there was just too much unnecessary screeching for me to get a chance to enjoy it. The rest just didn't really not much for me. I somewhat appreciate how this album came to be influential but in it's raw form, not an album I would come back to for a full listen, if ever. Maybe it could grow on me as it did the world, but I don't think I'll give it the chance.
A superb album, an absolute joy to listen to. This is the kind of music I came to this list to discover.
Great album from Joni Mitchell, having only listened to Blue before, I really enjoyed the jazz/pop style on this one. Favourite songs: 'Car On a Hill' 'Free Man On Paris' 'Twisted'
Love the instrumentation on this album. Such a fun listen through, not a single song I don't enjoy, although not quite deserving of a 5 to me.
Prince's masterpiece. From the moment the album starts with 'Let's Go Crazy' it has you hooked all the way. It's Purple Rain!
Not a good album, nothing redeemable about this one for me. I didn't even want to try and like it, silence was preferable to the noise which this album was. I appreciate this album may have been significant at the time, it's just not for me.
A great album and a great listening experience. The tracks all flow into eachother smoothly and cleverly despite the ever switching genre. Top tracks:. 'You Ain't the Problem' 'Piano Joint (This Kind of Love)' 'Living in Denial' 'Hero' An excellent modern find from the list and a very confident self titled album.
It's clear that these guys are very talented at playing their respective instruments. Some of the intros to these tracks are impressive. Such a shame they inevitably ruin each track by turning great riffs into generic indistinguishable noise. And then the singing, or rather the lack of singing, more like a weird yell/shout. There was not a single word or line I understood. How can you mumble something so bad while also screaming it. Not a single track here I would come back to, not even for the few seconds on most tracks which have great instrumentation. Such a shame and a waste of talent. Shit.
Not my favourite Bob Marley & The Wailers album but a very solid one. 'No Woman, No Cry' is great as always!
Good selection of Christmas songs, short and sweet and all you need. Shame about Phil Spector though
Decent album, but most of it seemed to pass me by without really making an impact. Some notable songs which I enjoyed 'Holocaust' 'Kanga Roo' 'Take Care' Will probably listen to it again, it was good enough, glad to have heard it.
An enjoyable but somewhat average 1970s rock album. I actually enjoyed the second side of the album a lot more than the 20 minute opener/first side which seems to be more popular.

Good listen but forgettable for me. Expect 'Wild World', great song. Needs a relisten, I could see myself coming round to it.
One of the best Doors albums. A joy from start to finish.
Really great 80s pop album which holds up well. Absolutely loved 'Appetite' and 'Desire As'
A top tier Short Album About Love 'Everybody Knows (Except You)'
Not a bad album, but not really a good album either. Most of it was not very gripping, background music that I didn't enjoy. Jo's Lament was alright though.
Really great album. Each song brings a different feel and energy. Could listen to this all day. Off with your head.
This album will make you just bop and bop. A great listen through and a piece of musical history.
An electronic album which does some things right and well, but most of the time, other do it better. Lyrics is definitely, one of them, some questionable and humorous lines there, I guess that's the point. The music is interesting at best and boring at worst. Maybe a 2 is too harsh, but it's not as good as some of the albums I've give a 3.
A good live album with lots of energy. Haven't heard any of these songs before but might check out some of their albums after this.
Could barley remember the album today after listening to it yesterday. Think that speaks for my listening experience, nothing really stood out, just a bunch instrumentals.
Few debut albums stand as tall as Led Zeppelin's. And the fact that the first two songs are "Good Times Bad Times" and "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You", amazing. Saying that most of the the songs on here are bangers. Crazy to think they went on to make better albums than this.
One of Eminem's best albums featuring some undeniable great tracks and top tier beats. However, particularly in the first half, I can't help but cringe at some of the lyrics. Some of the tongue in cheek stuff just doesn't hold up today. There's nothing else quite like this album and that might be a good thing
Didn't hate this album but I can't say I enjoyed it. There was a couple of songs I liked, just not really into the punk genre.
