Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby
Girls Against Boysnot bad, i don't think i found any songs i'd add to a playlist tho

very beatles, there were some nice melodies, but the guitar sounded messy at times
Suuuch a fun listening experience, I found myself really wanting to hear whatever was next. So energizing, great band and featured vocalists. I'm such a fan, i won't look him up on google for fear of a glass ceiling shatter lol Added everything but Wish You Were Dead to my playlist looool
not great, some of the intros were nice, i think i only enjoyed like one song. it wasn't offensive to listen to until the last couple of songs. Just.. not for me lol
good time
DNF-ed honestly Cowboy was the only fun song, nice to see put a face to that meme. But fuuuuuuck this guy and his lazy, vapid lyrics. Holy shiiit Like he features a black woman on a track but her name isn't anywhere in the title. Everything is about how he gets made fun of for his nose and that he liked to smoke crack and drink and get in fights. he's racist and just... god so annoying.
i really like how floaty and spacey this feels. I'm so glad this was the next album, it feels like a cleanse after yesterday's album being as bad as it was.
I ended up adding 2 songs to my main playlist Very nice "vibes" kind of album, I can see why one of the songs was featured on "Everything Is Emo" I think my fav was actually "I Won't Share You"
i really needed this instrumental album today. So calming, so easy to have in the background while I journal. I just love it honestly.
honestly, a boring album for me, i knew Tainted Love, hated Sex Dwarf, that was just a jarring listen and I had to skip it before I got too annoyed.
Sounds like it was made for fashion show runway walking, and I think that's what makes it cool. Very grunge/goth sounding, I especially enjoyed the 2nd track. I almost put this at 4 stars because I was going to add One More Time to my instrumental playlist, but ultimately was disappointed when there were some vocals that disrupted my vibe. So 3 it is.
Not a bad album at all, I think I enjoyed the first couple of songs, but not enough to add anything to a playlist.
I think this album is the kind of Beatles album I would have heard as a kid and not really enjoyed. Now though, I can say it wasn't hard to get through, I appreciate that the album feels like a nice pocket of its own thing. I think the middle section of the album better encapsulates what I think good Beatles songs are with breaks in layering and more solo moments for vocals, and more harmonies when the layering is used. I decided to rate it the way I did because I did actually like "Michelle" enough to add it to my main playlist. Such a pretty song and I like the moments of singing in french. It's also really stripped down, less folk-y in my opinion.
maybe i just wasn't in the mood for it, but i think i don't vibe with the vocals, and an album of ballads like can we have something a little higher energy? I'm trying to listen to the album, not fall asleep to it.
Super enjoyable. Lucy is my favorite song off this album because of the time I saw the Circ de Solei show. The performance for that track was beautifully enchanting and I just hold it so dear to my heart. That whole show was amazing. Anyway, I don't think I can rate it above 4 because I'd only add Lucy to my main playlist.
Favorite song on the album Boys On The Radio, I don't remember the other songs. *thumbs up* Not bad at all, just, not veryyyyyy memorable.
Way better than i expected because I didn't expect much based on Power being the only song I'd heard from the album. It wasn't bad at all, I enjoyed it, it doesn't fit the vibe for my playlists, but Monster was a fav.
Didn't hate it, didn't loooove it. Was just a little bored.
Never listened to Bowie on purpose, I thought it'd be more psychedelic... Not bad at all though.
I kinda knew I'd like this, but daaaamn I really feel bad for 13-year-old me that didn't get this recommended on her Pandora stations. Like, she kinda needed this album. I would have had so many mix CDs with Alanis Morissette and Flyleaf side-by-side, ya know? 3 songs in, I knew I was probably going to give this 5 stars.
A good listen, I've never heard of them, but i didn't feel like skipping. I don't think I'd normally seek them out though, so that's why i went with a 3
I really like how she uses so much of the album to talk about what's going on in her life. Some songs are catchier than others, I ended up adding a couple of them to my main playlist, which means it's a 4!
Not every song was a hit for me, but one of them stood out to me as something to add to my playlist for songs I'd like to learn on the bass.. soooo it's a 4 star :D
it's not the album's fault, i had my listening experience ruined at the end because my friend told me about something with someone's autobiography and statutory R-word... and yeah
This gets an automatic 4 because a couple of the songs are already on my main playlist. Love the YeahYeahYeahs and Karen O.
I liked the first song. it gave me high hopes for something to add to my instrumental playlist, but the rest of the album was a bit of a slog to get through.
