A classic, I think essential album that anyone who likes music needs to listen to, as there is a lot of fun ideas and producing techniques on here. Not Daft Punk’s best work imo. Drums even for a house music album are too overdriven. Album seems to not have a ton of coherency and seems like there is some filler in there especially at beginning and end of album. This feels like a typical first album to me, lots of fun ideas, ground work to what makes Daft Punk fantastic is being layed but lacking some coherency as a full knock out album. 3.3/5.
3.4/5. A garage rock essential, great album to start out with listening to White Stripes. I think there is better song writing to be had and there are better The White Stripes albums to be listened to.
A transitionary album for the stones. Not as coherent as exile as it seems big hit singles were put at beginning and end album with more blues rock folk in the middle.
Fun take on 80’s new wave. Great driving bass lines. Album is definitely a little cheesy but is also apart’s of it’s charm.
Album could’ve been one disc. Lots of duds on imo. Prince went too heavy into the 80’s tech with this one.
Very genre diverse for a pop rock album. Band on the run is always great and a lot of the orchestra parts I liked.
Good songwriting. Lacking originality in the pop genre and album feels dated to 2014 with synths and overall sound. Some hooks quite good other uninspiring and repetitive.

Good bars, fun backing tracks some are a lil repetitive and lose their charm mid song.

Fun album. It’s just a tad too pop driven and repetitive for my taste. I feel like it’s knocking on the door of a 4-5 album just missing some elements.
Fantastic album. Good cohesive album with two obvious singles made but singles were great. A tad heavy on the love songs and similar themes that puts it on the 4 star category.
