At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Jan 06 2024

Sound quality is really great considering it’s live from the 60s. Classic blues! Love Muddy’s voice!

At Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers Band
Jan 06 2024

Great sunny day driving record! Young Duane rips!!

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Jan 09 2024

Really loved this one, cool production ideas and great front to back concept. Kind of need to listen to the whole work for it to make sense.

Marquee Moon by Television
Jan 10 2024

Guitar playing is really great! Mix of surf rock and punk. Not loving the singing but band is tight. Would recommend to someone looking for something a little more innovative/interesting in their chords changes and structure

Screamadelica by Primal Scream
Jan 12 2024

First track was cool but really just felt like musical ADD to me. Production is a bit all over the place for me.

The Blueprint by JAY Z
Jan 14 2024

Favorite Jay Z Record by far. Gets me pumped every time I listen, great to hear early Kanye Production as well.

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Jan 17 2024

This one was a hard one to rate because there are two versions on Spotify, the American "Clean" Version or the one with just demos and live performances... Would be cool if the OG English version. I've always loved Back to Black, but Amy is undeniable and it is great to hear her when she was younger and a little more raw. Gone wayyyyyy too soon!

Aja by Steely Dan
Aug 01 2024

Classic Dan, I have this one on Vinyl and have loved it for years!

The Scream by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Aug 02 2024

not my vibe

If You Can Believe Your Eyes & Ears by The Mamas & The Papas
Sep 10 2024

Can totally appreciate the writing and arrangements on this record. Just of a different time period and prob not much that would bring me back for a second listen. California Dreaming is going on the 1001 playlist though

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Oct 21 2025

Love this record! Even better on vinyl

Illmatic by Nas
Oct 24 2025

I always sleep on Nas! Tracks are great, I need to give this a few more listens to get some more of the lyrics. He's non-stop, in a good way!

All Hope Is Gone by Slipknot
Mar 20 2026

I made a mistake and listened their debut album. I like that one much more. All hope is gone is really good, more guitar forward and loses some of the aggression of some of the earlier stuff

Butterfly by Mariah Carey
Mar 22 2026

Mariah at the top of her game! Shes top 5 alltime for sure!
