1001 Albums Summary

This album is too long. Some songs feel like noise only. Some feel very disjoined from the rest of the songs. Wanted to enjoy. Didn't. Favorite was probably Loving Cup.

Original link disappeared and was unable to find the one linked before with no bonus tracks. I was initially happy to get a band I've previously purchased albums from, but this really didn't seem to be an album I'd listen to at this point in my life. I also evidently didn't listen to it when it came out, having given up on this band and album or two before this one

I'm really not into jazz, but I guess I wouldn't turn this off if it was on in the background or mind it if it was playing in a restaurant or something.

Oh, four songs? Nice! Oh, it's still almost an hour. No. No thanks. Listened for 5 minutes then turned it off. I hate this album.

A band I'm at least somewhat familiar with, though not really an active listener of them at any time in my life. Some songs continue for what seems like no apparent reason other than to fill time. Why? Not much else to say on this one.

Not many comments on this. Listened to it split over many sessions and not in a good headspace. Knew several songs and overall felt it was an album I would enjoy listening to.

An album I've owned for a couple of decades but don't listen to much anymore. It always will be a good album for driving in the car and letting your anger out, however

Could see myself listening to this in the right situation. Overall too much mouth banjo or whatever it is. Some moments on the album really stood out, but overall sounded too similar song to song.

I was super into two and a half of these four songs. Which says a lot as someone who doesn't like jazz.

Is this album used in torture sessions?

Still enjoy the singles immensely. Some songs feel very dated. Enjoy some songs that aren't singles

Songs with words sound exactly like what I would've listened to in 2003. But much of the album is instrumental jazz sort of jam and I don't love those songs that much.
