Album carried by the two singles, on the whole the songs go on a bit too long for my liking. Nothing offensive to my taste, just fine - 2.5/5

More good songs than bad and there are Pixies songs I prefer than the ones I recognized from this album. I wouldn't rush back to listen start to finish, but I may listen to one or two of these again in the future. 3/5

Okay as background but all tracks a bit samey but I am not a Springsteen fan so this is middle of the road for me, 2.5/5

Not bad for a U2 album a very distinct sound throughout this album unsure I would listen again though. 3/5

Interesting music themes and blends of styles in early tracks, but the album trails off slightly towards the end. Unsure I would listen to it in full again but enjoyed it. 3/5

Solid album including tracks featuring Blues, jazz, funk and the classic Simply Red sound. Slightly carried by the 3 singles but an enjoyable listen and would listen again 4/5

Feels like trying to hark to country crooner hybrid but hasn't got enough oomph. All a little bit vanilla, although can't dispute that the background music is quite nice. Just overall quite a boring record. 1.5/5

No doubt an inspirational sound to plenty who came after but this raw punk sound makes for quite a tough going listen. Apart from 1-2 tracks that feel a little more thought out and melodic. 2/5

Always a distinctive sounding album with the Black Keys, good tracks, solid all round. 3.5/5

I wasn't expecting this album to be full of so much atmospheric instrumental sections. Not bad though although it gets a little tiresome towards the end. 3/5
