1001 Albums Summary

This is the most fun I’ve had listening to an album in a long time.

Love. Love. Love the album! Never listened to it entirely before. I've actually heard a lot of these deeper tracks before on SXM first wave. Precious is one of my all time favorites as well as mystery achievement. I was introduced to the pretenders from hearing brass in pocket on radio. Then in the 80s hearing their stuff. It wasn't until later I discovered their earlier stuff had huge punk/new wave vibes. Solid solid album. And Chrissie is definitely a leading lady of rock!

A classic. Love Marley. Reggae as a genre is not my favorite. All the songs seem to meld together after awhile. It’s still hard to deny the impact Bob Marley had on this genre and the influences he has brought forward to artists currently.
