Remain In Light
Talking Heads1 good song on the whole album :(.
1 good song on the whole album :(.
Not as good as I was expecting.
Alone + Easy Target was good Floaty was good For All the Cows was odd but good The more "popular" songs of This is a Call and Big Me, I didn't particularly enjoy. Exhausted made me check my headphones connection...
Pretty good. Across the Great Divide was great.
Not bad. Title track Aladdin Sane was the worst on the album. Not Bowie's best album, but still decent.
Nothing incredible, a fine metal album.
This album is incredible. Incredibly relaxing and easy to listen to. Only grievance was that it felt slightly too long, I think you could get rid of Reunion and Suitelady and it would be a perfect length.
Not the biggest fan of electronic or dance. And this felt like a bad version of both. A couple of the songs were alright, but others made me want to rip off my headphones because of how obnoxious they were.
Their is a lot going on, and I am too dumb and white to understand. Olsen Olsen was really nice
This is great. I love the transistions between songs on this album, they flow through to each other incredible. Not the biggest fan of some of the songs themselves, but otherwise really good.
This was horrible. I am not a fan of jazz, but this felt like it was grinding my brain down with how boring, monotonous and slow it was.
Incredible boring album, nothing stood out as good, it all just felt like I was listening to waves crash on the beach but with vocals. At which point I would rather just listen to waves crash on the beach.
This isn't as bad as the rating makes it seem. It's a style of music I don't enjoy, and drones on for way too long. A few of the songs I can understand how people might enjoy, even if I don't.
Not even close to Radiohead's best album. This album feels like Radiohead got "cool" and said "no, we hate that, let's try and be weird again". Radiohead was already at the forefront of "weird, quirky" music and it is incredible. This album truly fell flat for me in comparison to their previous albums.
This album was not on spotify, after reading into why, I understand and respect Neil Young for his choice. Luckily I was able to listen to this on Youtube Music, and I have to say, it's not a bad album. All the songs have the same soppy tone, that sounds like a country singer turned emo. I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I did, not an incredible 5 star masterpiece, but definitely better than many other albums.
This is Duran Duran. Every song on this album is great, fantastic vocals, great music. Contains one of the greatest songs of all time, Hungry Like the Wolf. Their are no complaints with this album, it's not incredibly long, not too short. Perfect length with 9 great songs that are all easy to listen to, and all different enough from each other.
Nothing special on this album. Second Neil Young album on the list, and I stand by the fact he is a boring artist, with boring songs.
This is bad. After listening to the first 3 songs, you'll think "this is horrible, I just want to get through this crap". 20 minutes later, your on the last 10 songs and suddenly those first 3 songs seem like heaven in comparison to where this album goes. Like listening to the Tasmanian Tiger from The Looney Tunes sing whilst being tased by Elmer Fudd. Don't listen to this. It's rated this low for a reason.
This was good, couple great songs, some "fun" lyrics. Nothing particularly stand out, but everything gels quite well as an album. I quite enjoyed listening to this.
This album is fine to me. Personally the soul jazzy vibe isn't my style, but I can see how others would find this to be such an incredible album. Obviously Let's Get It On is a fantastic song that holds up after 50 years, but everything else sounds the same but just a bit worse.
I didn't think I would like this album. Expected a much heavier thrash piece. Overall I found it very tame compared to my expectations, and that may be part of the reason for a 3 rating. Some amazing vocal runs, the instrumentals were great. Not my favourite genre, but I liked well enough.
Wasn't too bad, wouldn't go out of my way to listen again. But not upset I listened to this. This is the sort of album you forget is on, and then all of a sudden realise, oh yeah I'm listening to music, it's very "not there".
This was pretty good. Enjoyed listening to it.
Nothing amazing here. Obviously a couple good songs, but I would say only good because of how we see them now. Not necessarily good as a standalone piece.
This is great, very melancholy, easy to listen to. Only gripe would be the weird screaming on the last song. Every other song had a clear message, easy to listen, and was calm easy and relaxing, whilst hitting some rough topics.
Nothing special on this. Simple Minds have some great songs, but this album was overwhelmingly "eh". I still don't understand why the album and title track have (81/82/83/84)?
I came in thinking I would enjoy this, I love the bands the Pixies inspired. But this was too far for me, the screaming of the first 2 songs, Debaser and Tame were off putting. Even the best songs on this album were just alright, and only served as a good break for the bad songs around them.
This can only be described as a trip. Björk obviously has an amazing voice, but a lot of these songs didn't use it to her fullest. The weird mix of beat boxing and the obsession with trying to put the most random sounds into songs definitely brought this down. In saying that, The final track Triumph Of A Heart, somehow works really really well. It shouldn't, but it does.
Some great hits, and some songs that I've never heard that I loved. Great album, from a great band. Throw out a couple of the less good songs and easily a 5. Would give 4.5/5 as is.
I love Daft Punk. What those 2 guys could do with music was incredible, and I love so many of their songs. Homework was the album before they really hit the groove with every song being amazing. This doesn't have many great songs, and in my opinion one of the worst songs of all time "Around the World", too repetitive, way too long, it's horrible.
Pretty good, not something I'd put on myself but wouldn't go out of my way to turn any of the songs off.
This was pretty fine. Nothing overly exciting, but nothing that made me want to stop listening. Not bad out of ten.
I didn't know I needed this. This is incredible.
Not normally a fan of this sort of music, but this was quite good. No songs that I hated, happy to listen to them all.
This was quite good, easy to listen to, and very chill, easy to work to.
This was pretty good. Some good songs, some definitely lacking. Not upset about listening to it, but to modern standards, it's lacking a bit.
