A good introduction to Cash's voice via a cover album with some familiar songs. I have heard some of the more popular Johnny Cash songs before but have never listened to an album. The renditions of Hurt and We'll meet again are real tearjerkers and you can hear the pain in his voice knowing that he didn't have long left.

Didn't love it. Was boring and was glad when it ended. No songs really stood out - I already knew bat out of hell, other than that, I can't really remember any of the songs, and I only just finished listening to it. The songs are way too long - album is over an hour and there's only 9 tracks! Might be better live? Might be better as a musical? Not sure! 1*

Really enjoyed this. Particular stand outs were sunshine of my love (sure I've heard it before) and take it back. Definitely think that some of the current musicians I listen to were influenced by these guys Reluctant to give a 5 so early in the process so going with a 4 but would definitely listen again

I really didn't want to like this but I have to admit it was good. I hate Kanye as a person but this is a good album. The 1st half is better than the second

I thought I'd like this one but it was just meh! I can't remember a single song, it all just blurred into one! There are much better bands in this genre

Enjoyed this album. I used to listen to a lot of hip-hop but haven't for a few years. Nice to get back into it a bit

I had this album when it first came out, although I didn't listen to it loads. I think it is good background music - music to listen to while driving
