Really enjoy the mixing on this album at times. Blues guitar really forward and vocals mixed to the back is quite interesting, especially for the time and with such a famous voice. The gospel influences were great, really nostalgic. Fav tracks: “True Love Travels on a Gravel Road”, “Suspicious Minds”, and “Mama Liked the Roses”. 3.75/5

I love what Bruce stands for but for some reason I get bored after a few tracks. May be too repetitive? Anyways, fav tracks: “Cover Me”, “I’m on Fire”, “Glory Days”. Album rocks but can’t hold my interest all the way through! 3/5
