I don't think I've ever consciously listened to this album. Obviously heard Jamming and Three Little Birds!
It feels immediately recognisable to me, and very energetic AND laid-back. I guess that's because so much electronic music (especially in dub, dubstep & drum and bass) is influenced by it or samples it.
Enjoyed very much, solid.
I'm not really sure what to say about this one. It's oasis, it sounds like oasis. A lot of their music kinda blends into one wall of sound for me. Bring It On Down did break it up a bit.
It's decent, but never really been my thing. Solidly OK, often more enjoyable a few pints in.
Another famous band I've not really listened to! I'm not sure if I actually recognise any track names from their top tracks.
Paranoid Android was good and Karma Police sounded familiar! Enjoyed the whole album including the 2017 edition with the second side, it certainly has a vibe.
It was alright. Had a listen to all the Iggy masters and then one or two of the Bowie masters. Not really appreciating the "genius songwriting" or whatever that wikipedia bangs on about. Other 70s acts like the Clash are much more interesting.
Pretty relaxing, not bad. Enjoyed it a fair bit, though not enough to bother looking at other bits of the discography.
Very nice. Enjoyed all the fun playing with sounds. Felt proper intense.
Great voice, enjoyed it a fair bit. Didn't get a wow factor from me, but then the album is twice as old as I am!
Enjoyed this. Sounds it's age, but still very unique in it's character. Very mellow. Surprised how much I liked it, given I don't tend to like harmonised pop-rock vocals like used by The Beatles a bunch.
Good guitar licks for the sound effects.
It's alright, not really feeling it though. Good guitar skills.
Pretty good for the kind of music it is, but I don't really gel with a lot of the more sickly ballad adjacent stuff. Other genres do that sort of emotion much better for me.
Some good funk/soul on here, like Superstition. Might have to listen to more of the back-catalogue if it's like that.
This is really good. Really enjoying the alternative takes from the deluxe edition. Great guitar work, solid vibes.
Not sure how I never actively listened to this given how much I like The Clash. Good stuff - charged, frenetic and catchy as hell. My head has been bobbing the whole record.
Has a few bangers, but also a bunch of shite. Would not listen to the album front-to-back really.
It's classic rock. It's good classic rock, but I'm not really a classic rock kinda guy. Probably enjoyed My Life is Natural the most.
Yes. Wait, that's another band!
What I mean to say is this, good shit. Good shit right there.
New to me, enjoyed most of it a fair bit. Not my typical listen, but it's a solid record. Australia was a great track.
I think I can forgive Muswell Hill for producing Wetherspoons now.
Yeah, nice. Sledgehammer 👍
Album is decent.
Man I guess I really do hate ballads. There were some interesting instrumental bits but nah.
Well this was a completely unexpected gem. Closing track Bel Air is great fun.
It was pleasant to listen to, but not super my thing. Enjoyed some of the piano usage.
Yes, great. Really love the character of the album, great cohesion.
There were a few good tracks, but a lot of it felt very uninspired and a bit pretentious. Perhaps that's just because I've heard more recent works that sit in the same genre.
