I quite liked it, easy to listen to and very pleasant to the ear. I'm a folk rock listener, so it wasn't a tedious or boring listen. I would hear it back and specifically when I'm doing things, as a great way to pass the time.
I can't finish describing what it was like to listen to this album. It has been frustrating and horrible. I expected something better. Only 5 songs out of 20 seemed pleasant enough to me. I think it was a waste of time listening to it and I wouldn't recommend it.
I don't think Dusty has a bad voice, but with each song that passed, I got more bored. The dull and lackluster way she sings, as if she had been forced to do 20 covers of songs from the time. And I think that makes it worse that it's an entire album of covers.
Notable songs: You Don't Own Me, Do Re Mi, When The Love Light Starts Shining Thru His Eyes, Nothing and Anyone Who Had A Heart.
Album 3/1001
This album has a very good start, quite happy and fun. The first two songs put me in a very good mood. BUT, starting with "Papa Was A Rollin' Stone" things change. The album takes a more melancholic and sad turn. It changes so much that it seems like another album. This is not bad but I do think it is quite confusing when listening to it. Apart from that, it was a very good album, the bass completely won me over, it was something that I really liked. I would totally listen to it back.
Notable songs: Run Charlie Run, Funky Music Sho Nuff Turns Me On, Papa Was A Rollin' Stone and Do Your Thing

I gave myself quite a long time to listen to this album and with Neil's return to Spotify I was listening to this album quite a bit. It's good, very good. Some songs are long enough that you think it will be boring (considering the style of music) and repetitive. But when I got to the end of the songs I felt that all the time I was listening was completely worth it, that I achieved something after 6 or 7 minutes of the same song. It's not a perfect album, but that's what I liked. I will totally be listening to it in my daily life (in fact I am already doing it, I have already listened to it 3 complete times).
Notable songs: See the Sky About to Rain (my favorite from the album) Vampire Blues, Walk On and Revolution Blues

Boring, it had an interesting start but then it became very boring and quite dated. Pretty mid.

I had heard good things about Bon Jovi, but I think this album is not one of them. It was boring and I honestly didn't feel like there was anything enjoyable or interesting about any song. I don't know if all work is like this but I hope not.

I liked the beginning but it became repetitive and boring. There were only 3 songs that I would genuinely listen to. The recording didn't seem like a thing to me

I agree with the opinion of many people. This album is ethereal and quite dreamy. It is a very pleasant sound and quite relaxing. Although I don't think it's the best of what's on the list. It's a very good album, it's not perfect but it's really good.
Notable songs: Ivo, Lorelei and Pandora (for Cindy)

God, this album was unbearable. I could talk for an hour about how this album is horrible. Sorry to those who like the album but this album is not good, that's my opinion. I think one of the things that frustrates me the most about this album is the vocals. It was one of the things that made me suffer listening to this album. I didn't get into the lyrics much but I think that doesn't make up for how the album sounds at all. You can't make an album that bad and last an hour and a half, with 20 songs.
Notable song: Three Great Alabama Icons
I had better expectations about this album and it ended up disappointing me a bit. It's not the worst album I've heard from the 80s, but it's not the best either. I believe and understand that this was the band's debut and I feel that it influenced a lot in making all the songs sound almost exactly the same. I finished listening to the album and there was not a single song that remained in my head. NOT EVEN ONE. Which disappoints me because "Take On Me" is a song that I really enjoy and that I really like. I don't agree with many people who like this album but everyone has their own tastes and who am I to judge?
Notable Song: Take On Me

I think this album is much better than her debut, I think she did a better job on this album. Her voice is much better here. There is a slight influence on rock and an experience acquired in the studio. However, this album didn't seem like a big deal to me. I don't think it's that good and I feel like it got repetitive at a certain point. I think they had all the tools to make a much better album and it wasn't made. It's a shame because when I started listening to it I got very excited but I ended up being disappointed.
Notable songs: So Much Love, Son Of A Preacher Man, I Dont Wanna To Hear It Anymore and The Windmills Of Your Mind

It's the first Bowie album I've heard and I have to say it's not bad. Good production and good voice performance. I think that at some points it became repetitive but it was not overwhelming and heavy, it was a pleasant and enjoyable listen. I don't think it's perfect but I'm excited to know what Bowie's other works are like. And that Beatles cover is a little weird.
Notable songs: Young Americans, Fascination and Fame

I actually liked this album, it has a pretty unique sound and style that I really enjoyed. BUT what the fuck happened with that last song lasting almost 20 minutes without reason? I really dont care if a song is very long but what I fucking hate is when you do pretentious bullshit just cause you wanna be "different". I think that fuck off the end album for me. Luckily "Four Horseman of 2012" has a shorter version if you wanna listening to it. Even thougth teh album has that version, the official one is the one I listen to, and just because that ending son this album is NOT a five stars. Overall, I really enjoyed listen to it.
Notable songs: Atlantis To Interzone, Golden Skans and Magick

This was the first album from The Beatles i've ever heard and i was a pretty good experience. I understand that the idea of this album is be a double album but in a point it feel pretty long and repetitive. I liked almost all the songs but like I said before it was so long without a purpose. I think that if a couple songs where put apart from this album and made them its own album could've been good
overall, a pretty good album. I hope i like the others albums of them that are gonna appear in this list
I took my time listening to this album, first because I haven't had a specific amount of time to listen to music and give it the attention it deserves, second because I really like to listen to albums slowly. I don't listen to most of my favorite albums in my life all at once. I like to process them slowly and patiently. Mostly because this is the first album I've ever listened to by The Police. The Police, for me, is that band that my dad always talked about but never played a song by them. I always had this impression that they were a good band but I never really listened to anything by them.
Until this album appeared on my "1001 albums" list. To say that I liked it would be an understatement. I feel that unlike other 80's albums that have appeared on the list (I'm talking about you, a-ha) this really feels like an album worthy of being on this list. There is a certain type of sound that maybe repeats itself in the songs, but not in the way of: "this is a song and album from the 80's." if not in a nice and fun way. It made me have a really good time and I'm sure I'll listen to it again.

Ok, this was a fun ride. I really liked this album, it feel funny and danceable. I not have too much things to say, just that I really liked.
