Lots of good variance between sounds. Love the jazz and gospel sounds you get from some of them. Great energy. Funny interludes

Love the funk sound in Rock

This was already a childhood favorite.

Bluesy-er than I expected. it's a classic but didn't blow me away

Had to skip through the first song after 4 minutes Like I get the trancy metal-late '70s vibe of it, but it's so repetitive Poptones had an interesting beat. That one got me into counting. Maybe just the drummer's drumming on the offbeats. It is definitely a one sound kind of sound

Reminded me a lot of jon Batiste and his whole style of mixing r&B a bit of jazz and like reggae

A classic 60s rock sound where u get songs that aren't rock at all (by what we would call it) and others that have the hint of what was to come

Disney def stole from Mbube for The Lion Sleeps Tonight Curious how much of this is straight up African stuff versus a blend of culture once more colonizing started affecting it. Really beautiful stuff tho

Def proto-nirvana sound, almost early 90s grunge. It's consistent

Definitely a '70s vibe. Had some weird wet sounds and shrieking things added in there, but overall it was space outy vibes

60s but feels older. like upscale old sit down jazz club performance. Once I noticed she does the warbled held notes thing, I heard it a lot and started to bug me a bit.

Felt the Arabic-african sound.

It's almost not fair. I knew every song besides maybe one or two and now I love them. I had forgotten that Beatles had some songs that were more than 4 minutes.

Chill vibes. Proto lo-fi

Starts strong and has high and lows. He sounds great. They are all romance related songs, but that makes sense for the heartthrob he was. You can hear the upbeat blues jazzy ness that becomes rock.

Of course it would come from early '70s. Pulled out Bloody Well Right from the start at the top song. Goes through three very interesting sound changes, and groove in the whole time. Dreamer reminded me of Styx.

Feels like LoFi before LoFi. A bit weird but was able to vibe to it.
