Boston by Boston
Mar 20 2024

I loved hearing this again - took me back to my college days. Even before I read up on the album, I recognized how much classical music played a part in the creation. My son is a musician and audio engineer so I loved being more aware of the complexities of this album.

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Mar 21 2024

Love hearing Hallelujah. While his voice is wonderful - poignant at times and evocative, occasionally stirring- the melody of most songs did not compel me to listen a second time

Bert Jansch by Bert Jansch
Mar 29 2024

I really enjoyed this album, and I am not a folk music fan. His guitar prowess was impressive, very natural; I felt like I was listening on a front porch because of the mood, but his playing was amazing and heartfelt.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Mar 30 2024

I really enjoyed this album - now more than I probably did when it first came out. Maybe I have lived life a little more since then to relate to her lyrics and the angst in her voice. At times her voice seems screechy on the high notes, but it only adds to the anger/frustration/disillusionment in the lyrics. Loved everything about the songs.

Home Is Where The Music Is by Hugh Masekela
Apr 02 2024

Absolutely loved this album. The blend of horn, piano and other instruments was incredible. The Big Apple and others were long pieces that allowed the listener to be washed away in the beautiful music.

Teen Dream by Beach House
Apr 08 2024

At first I thought I was getting a Beach Boys album. I loved this album, didn’t expect to enjoy this sound from 20 years ago. Magical.

Midnight Ride by Paul Revere & The Raiders
Apr 17 2024

I am surprised that hearing this album just did not hold my interest (like the Young Rascals did). The songs seemed redundant.

Liege And Lief by Fairport Convention
Apr 18 2024

I absolutely loved this album. Sandy Denny's voice is incredible. Her voice, with the violins and mandolin playing in accompaniment, was just ethereal - and yet fierce. I am not a folk rock listener, but I will look for this album

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
May 11 2024

So very good. Love Levon “ great lyrics- “ he was born a pauper to a pawn”. Tiny Dancer, Bennie the haunting Madman Across the Water. This album is truly iconic- “Your Song” is pivotal in the musical Moulin Rouge which i just saw two days ago; it reverberates through time.
