unsure if its really good or just super familiar… I love the song writing and also cool solos Heaps of jesus content for someone you would publicly announce himself as bisexual in 5 years. He is not deep into drug abuse yet. Comparing it to the beastie boys i like that the drums are further back in the mix. favs: tiny dancer, razor face (dope solo apparently an organ solo by wakeman not and accordion 🤷‍♂️), indian sunset

1st listen: the variety and horror elements of this witchy pop album are super cool. 🌟 the drum machine with the synth is vibes. i thought that waking the witch was going to take it to the next level with some proper metal but ig thats wishful thinking faves: mother stands for comfort, waking the witch i was sad when the album was finished second listen: using my computer speakers instead of my phone… honestly it wasnt as cool as i imagined as i listened on phone but still cool vocals also started to mildly annoy me but thats ok

faves: maggot brain, can you get to that, hit it and quit it i love it but idk when i can play it in a social setting 🌟

i enjoyed it but i actually kind of got sick of the guitar after listening through the album :((

Not many thoughts on this album. Need more listens and then I could maybe love it but rn it's kinda ehh. I guess this is a canonical indi band pioneer? The intro to tick reminds me of a more recent pop song and I can't remember what it is is.
