The intro was super unique, and lived up to the James Brown superstardom character. I didn't recognize any of the songs, but they were solid. The old production made the crowd sound lame and the instrumentation feel muffled, but not in a terrible way.. just aged. Loved the horn sections as they were the brightest spots on the record. The ending of Lost Someone into the Medley was the highlight.

Murmur by R.E.M.
May 01 2024

Really solid all the way through. Not a bad song on the album. No stand outs either. I liked the bass tones and vocals.

Queens of the Stone Age by Queens Of The Stone Age
May 03 2024

Overall solid. Good guitar tones, and some solid songs. Nothing really stuck out except some latter songs that drug on a bit.

Endtroducing..... by DJ Shadow

Interesting album that was intriguing to listen to. The variety of sounds and vibes was pretty unique. The off beat sections put off panic/unsettling feels. Overall solid.

Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
May 07 2024

I really liked this album. Moody, deep, and a general depth of uneasiness. I liked quite a few songs on the album, and I can see why it’s iconic.

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys

Solid album. The cadence of all 3 guys it’s truly cool. No bangers, but solid songs.

Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens
May 23 2024

This album was really great. I remember my dad playing a bunch of Cat Stevens, so there may be some nostalgia there, but nevertheless. Great song writing, great song structures. The production is very solid and makes this an easy listen.

Classic, all-time album. Amazing songs. Really good. Liked it a lot

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Jun 05 2024

The first few songs were a little too avant garde for me, even as a radiohead fan. The second half of the album I enjoyed a lot more, but not enough that I think I'll revisit this one any time soon.

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Jun 10 2024

Not for me. I can not for the life of me understand how this guy is so loved.

xx by The xx
Jun 12 2024

This album starts with an all time classic with The Intro. However this album starts to become too air-ey and lacks any dynamics or depth of sound. Pretty mid and unforgettable.

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Jun 13 2024

Eh.. this was a bad Zeppelin album. The start of the album is fantastic with Immigrant song, but the rest of the songs are just meh if not very underwhelming.

Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
Jun 20 2024

I liked this album a lot. Great song writing, groovy jams without being overly droning. Good album.

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Jun 21 2024

This was a good album. I like the sassy rock tones from the lead singer. The songs were simple, but punchy. Drum and guitar tones were solid.

Trans Europe Express by Kraftwerk
Jun 27 2024

Eh.. not for me out of 10. Edgy yet uninteresting. Nothing I wanted to listen to really.

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Jul 01 2024

Solid album. Guy was super talented. Sad he died so young.

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Aug 05 2024

This was a solid album where you can really tell that the band had superstardom in their future. I loved the Under My Thumb track. Mick has a great front man quality and give the band its punch here.

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Sep 30 2024

Great album! Really liked the chill vibes of each song.
