1001 Albums Summary

Excellent, but what else would you expect from Steely Dan? 1st song is the only one I recognize but the rest of the album is worth listening to... repeatedly.

Meh

I prefer Remain In Light, but this was solid pretty much all of the way through. A little less organic in terms of textures and actual musical parts meshing together seamlessly.

Did not like this album. Seems inconceivable that "On 24 February 2010, Weller received the Godlike Genius Award at the NME Awards." Don't see any hint of genius here.

Excellent blend of power pop, punk, & rock. Clever lyrics and he's got a great voice.

Fucking terrible.

Pretty good and notable for being an early example of synth based music more ambitious in composition but it doesn't hold up well compared to modern artists working in the genre.
