Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company

The cover art could’ve been beautiful but instead it’s just straight up racist. I know the maker of it was a satirist, but I’m not sure that compensates for that. The music is great though. Janis Joplin has an amazing and unique voice which in my opinion reflects a lot of emotion.

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Jun 17 2024

I'm not a big fan of Neil Young and it took me a while to understand it but tbh this was a great listen

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
Jun 18 2024

It's a beautiful album tbh, but I don't think anything special about it

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
Jun 23 2024

Stevie Wonder just doesn't miss. Like a lot of his projects, this is just perfection.

This was my introduction to King Crimson and it did not dissapoint. It has one of the strongest opening tracks I've ever heard. Which continues into a slower track and then eventually goes into epitaph. I liked the intro of moonchild. The song then went on to create some freestyle-jazz-ish vibe which is nice, but it was a bit long. We finish this masterpiece with a masterpiece, the titletrack. I truly like how King Crimson mixed rock with jazz influences.

Planet Rock: The Album by Afrika Bambaataa

Even though i know it was groundbreaking when it came out, it kinda feels dated today.

Except for you gotta move I think this is a great album. I wish i could give albums 4,5 though because I don’t think it is as strong as other albums I’ve rated 5 but it’s definitely better than albums I’ve rated 4. So i’m going with 4

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton
Jul 16 2024

Coat of many colors is such a good and cute song. Dolly truly is a legend. I'm not a country fan, but Dolly never misses.

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac

Definitely one of the best albums of all time

good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
Aug 06 2024

Kendrick Lamar is one of the few artists I can listen to all day and still be impressed by what he pulls of. 5/5 without a doubt, anyone who doesn’t agree genuinely hates rap music.

a bit boring to me

Ananda Shankar by Ananda Shankar

Glad there’s some world music in here. Sadly ig this is just not rlly my tea. It’s of course an instrumental album, but it doesnt rlly help that there are multiple covers of already known songs from famous artists in there. I did kinda like it though so 3 stars.

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Oct 21 2024
