Tapestry
Carole KingBaffling that this is from 1971. Feels ahead of its time in style and quality. Good listen - had never listened to a full Carole King album before and I'm glad I now have.

A lot of songs I had heard before, but the flow of the album makes them all roll together nicely.
I like later albums better. This is fine and spooky but I probably won't put it on again
this kinda just rips
An interesting weird album. I think I've heard better Blur albums but I get how Song 2 has endured and I see the creativity and indie oddity that Albarn exploded with in Gorillaz start to fester here.
first Tony Hawk song that came up in this list (Bring the Noise). This record is incredible hip-hop. A standout among an era of hip-hop I generally really like.
A lot of songs feel like they're twice as long as they should be.
Sleepy vocals and very boisterous backing music. Not my jam.
Bad Moon Rising is a bop. There's probably better CCR but this is solid.
Chicago is pretty good
Sleepy but really good
Been a while since I listened to The Smiths but the aching beauty of depression still comes through.
to prog or not to prog. Discordant hoopla that is super interesting but not something I'll go back to often. I respect it, though.
Where has this been all my life. This album is incredible. It leans largely on indie rock sensibilities but often veers into other genre blends. Just a kick-ass album.
Pure '80s vibes. A tight album with a lot of memorable bangers.
Not my bag, but I could see dropping acid to this
Funky but not for me
Incredible hardcore/punk album. Absolutely rips.
