Murder Ballads
Nick Cave & The Bad SeedsThis is barely an album, sounds like it was made by people who hate music and are taking their anger out on it.

Almost every track overstays it's welcome a bit, how are they all 5+ minutes sitting on the same beat. Even the best beat gets boring after that long. Didn't like the sampling of 21st century schizoid man, don't think it meshes well and just makes me wish I was listening to the better song. I like the use of the electric guitar on the album, not used to hearing that in hip hop. The album goes out on a high, perhaps the tightest tracks on the album. I don't know, the highs are really high but it feels pretty bloated. There's not a lot to keep me coming back to it tbh, other than a couple of tracks. 4/5
A more mellow Black Sabbath album that has lovely moments
Too sexy
Not a lot of variety but I like what is there 3.5/5
Light 4/5, lots of great moments
Pretty lovely
This transported me
I adore their noisy sound, although the final track on this album overstays its welcome imo
Lots of weird, seemingly random things on this album that fail to resonate with me at all. There's maybe one half-decent song on here.
Pretty inoffensive, pretty uninteresting
The vocal pyrotechnics often undercut the emotional moments of the songs by distracting from them rather than emphasizing them. I also find her voice to just be grating at times. The instrumentals are nothing special at best, pretty corny at worst.

Don't really care for the opening track and it's all downhill from there.
There are some good moments, but the production is mostly so washed-out that it sounds like I'm hearing a song from the club next door.
It's not bad, but it feels a little flat throughout
