C'est Chic
CHICI love the bass tone of the first tune Chic Cheer (Osama ;). Awesome grooves and just feels good all around.

Never heard this band, but so good. It’s almost like a new take on late 60’s early 70’s, but still modern and indie ish. Very cool.
... it's ok... not super engaging... putting me to sleep, actually.
I’m some very 80’s synth sounds… not always bad. Definitely an album to be choreographed about with a stage full of dancers
Love this album. I can’t believe it’s 21 years old already. It moves forward steadily in a chill way. The overall production is less layered and bold than current similar types of albums and the drums (of course) generally sound like “canned beats” but they are done tastefully.
I don’t think I’ve ever listen to this album before. It’s really good… although it does sound like so many other band of that time, they do it really well. No cheesiness. I’m Not bored! But the drums are so treble-ly though… the snare sounds like hitting a stack of wet paper… needs a lot more body… amazing how production styles have evolved over a few decades.
Goodness… this takes me way back to a different life. The first three songs are something I would have playing at a cool lounge, nice 60’s groovyness. Venus in Furs has always annoyed me a bit… maybe it’s the tambourine or the tempo… or the fact that it sounds a bit like a burnt-out rocker like Billy Mack in the movie “Love, actually” trying to have his moment again.
Never ever heard of them… I like the mix of poppy electronic and some grittiness in the first tune. There’s an underlying California vibe to this, with a little red hot chillies, but then interesting psychedelic sprinkles… pretty darn surprisingly not bad ;). Really like the feel of The Youth… I’m surprised by the whole album… it’s strong all along… the put a lot of time into each tune… none feels like filler fluff. The production is also interesting, combining some character from many decades… without copying or sounding fake. I’m happy I know this album now.
