1001 Albums Summary

WOOO FIRST ALBUM ! wish i discovered this site sooner long list of slightly biased comments because i read some reviews (which were all very spot on lol): • definitely confused by the flute (but i kinda like it) • love a folksy rock blend • i think a remaster would do this album justice • cringe lord of the rings reddit mod vibes but im gonna embrace it • the solos / riffs are beautiful and satisfying • don't think i would listen to this again except for a few songs unless i was in a very specific mood • i definitely understand the appeal, i wish they did a pink floyd thing and made these songs twice as long with more instrumental *(edit while listening: ok there are definitely long-ish moments of some Kewl instrumentals, still wish it was longer!!!!) • im so bad at listening to lyrics. need to start.

• love her voice • listened to some of this half asleep and it was an interesting experience • lowkey what i wanted aqualung to sound like • wanna rate it a *good* 3. should've rated aqualung a 2 • very good songs, but probably wouldn't play this album in its entirety in one sitting again (which is what a 4/5 or 5/5 album means to me)

• i love many of the songs from this album, but i have never bothered to listen to the album in full • don't understand how they can be so versatile. one beautiful, mellow song can seamlessly transition to an upbeat rock song • listening from like 6am so this is a peaceful experience • i definitely appreciate the remastering as a headphones user • some of the songs are forgettable and sound the same to me (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) • wanna rate it like a 3.7 but ill round up to a 4

kept thinking i was listening to a disney soundtrack😭 lowkey had to skip a lot just because i wasnt in the vibe… also rating this a 2, not necessarily because it’s bad, but just not my favorite style
