Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
Aug 03 2024

Love this album. It was in heavy rotation for me in college. I think one of the things I love about it is there isn't a low point, every song is great. There's never a moment I want to hit skip to get to the next single, if I'm putting this on it's because I want to sit and listen to the full album. There are definitely high points but start to finish, this album is lovely.

Too Rye Ay by Dexys Midnight Runners
Aug 04 2024

Maybe it's today's mood but these songs are a chore. I'm waiting for the one I know, but otherwise nothing is sparking joy. Did not enjoy this one.

Odelay by Beck
Aug 05 2024

This felt like listening to a mix tape. Nothing really grabbed me, and in general Beck suffers from having heard too much of him as a teen

Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes
Aug 06 2024

Nothing grabbed me. Likely wouldn't listen again.

Debut by Björk
Aug 07 2024

I should listen to more Bjork

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Aug 08 2024

All timer for me. I love this album.

Aug 09 2024

I wish I could give this a half star. Elbow completely escaped me as a band. It seems unlikely I would choose to listen to them again but I enjoyed it.

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Aug 10 2024

I know this is their big album for a lot of people, but it doesn't hit as much for me as Soft Bulletin. The highs are perfection, but the album doesn't feel overall as strong as some of their other stuff.

Aug 11 2024

I haven't listened to this since I was maybe 5. Why? These songs are fantastic.

Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Aug 12 2024

It is very difficult to listen to this and place it in context. I have listened to so much music that has iterated on the sound they developed here that it's hard to give it a fresh listen.

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Aug 13 2024

Masterpiece. This album means a lot to me. It's without flaw.

Ghosteen by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Aug 14 2024

I have some curiosity about Nick Cave, this album didn't grab me though.

Sea Change by Beck
Aug 15 2024

I hadn't listened to this in 20 years. It sounds like sad, pretentious past me. Nothing here really stood out, I don't know that I'm picking this one back up.

Future Days by Can
Aug 16 2024

this is a chore. No thank you.

Aug 17 2024

This very much grabbed my interest and I am very curious to hear more of this band.

Siembra by Willie Colón & Rubén Blades
Aug 18 2024

Not a genre I was familiar with but I enjoyed this a lot.

Reign In Blood by Slayer
Aug 19 2024

honestly this album is a classic but I just kinda can't with death metal anymore

Devotional Songs by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
Aug 21 2024

I don't know how to rate this one. I likely won't listen again, but I enjoyed it.
