Disc 1 is great, maybe not my style 100% but my highlights would be While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Back In The USSR Disc 2 is worse, but the highlights are; Helter Skelter, Revolution 1, Savoy Truffle
My second album here and I’m already on a marmite one! To be honest this album slaps, I love it, you should love it, everyone should love it. My highlights include: Dog Eat Dog, Antmusic, The Magnificent Five
I’d usually put my 3 highlight songs on the album, but in this case every song is so painfully boring, and they all blend into each other (and not in the cool Queen II/Dark Side Of The Moon way.) Bad music doesn’t sound awful, it sounds boring. This sounds like it was made to make everyone happy and therefore doesn’t match the taste of everyone quite right, so in actual fact, no one is quite satisfied.
When I saw the glowing reviews of this album, I was naturally quite excited to give it a listen. However, to my surprise, I had trouble differentiating between different songs- the album just felt like one hour-long song. It was good music, just all very similar.
A really cool album. No favourite songs in particular, but I’d definitely listen again!
