Hah! Quoth I, as the first album is revealed. I must have played this 100 times back in the day. I wrote a lesson plan around the lyrics to this LP when I was a student teacher. I still have the original LP with the lovely checkerplate embossed sleeve, and the lyric sheet insert, of course. It's still in a lovely playable condition, but has been superseded by CD copies and clones thereof for the car. Do you imagine that I think it's wonderful? You imagine correctly. Good start.

Alternately frantic and then mellow, this has grooves to spare. Bit of an acquired taste perhaps, but if you fancy some latin spice, this is a pretty fine place to start your exploration.

Canonical brilliance. Start here, abandon all hope of ongoing financial liquidity.

The apotheosis of Roxy brilliance. Outrageous, experimental, wickedly funny and lyrically cheeky. Out-weirding the first album, it's never topped by the later works. Has to be in everyone's top fifty from the 70s.

What can I say? Solid gold classic.

Completely monster album. If you like your rock with rocks on, this is the one. Get in training before you play; you'll need to be match fit to match this.

Frequently suffering from the 'I liked their earlier stuff better' syndrome, this is in reality a fine continuation of the ethereal majesty of the band. Highly recommended.

Absolute masterpiece. If you've never heard it, check it out and you will hopefully understand why it's held in such high regard.
