London Calling by The Clash

I don’t get it. I like the title track but I don’t hear what makes this a must hear. This is not a punk album. It’s like indie pop Smiths and the Cure. Not for me.

The Trinity Session by Cowboy Junkies

dark and morose -- like Tennessee in the wintertime. This record sounds like it was made in a world that no longer exists. This record is a time capsule.

I Should Coco by Supergrass

I really enjoyed this album! It features a fuzzy blend of garage rock and Britpop, with enough tempo changes and catchy melodies to keep you engaged. Before listening to the entire record, I had already heard the song "Alright." My favorite track is "Lenny" because the rhythm section is incredibly tight. The bass and drums are perfectly intertwined in every song, providing a solid foundation for the guitars and vocals to weave in and out. At one point during this 1001 album journey, I started to worry there was something wrong with my ears or my taste in music, but I’m so glad I discovered this album! I’d rate it 3.5 out of 5.

Larks' Tongues In Aspic by King Crimson

I may need another listen, but it didn't click with me. I enjoy TOOL and King Gizz, so I thought I was prepared for the prog. Apparently, I was not.

Madman Across The Water by Elton John

This was a good listen - glad it was only 9 songs. Indian Sunset was a nice change of pace. Tiny Dancer is a classic.
