Apart from a couple of songs, this album was dull.
Really didn't like a few songs (eg: Lady Jane), the rest were okay.
Actually hating this one. Like sandpaper for the ears.
Basic beats and lyrics. Seems pretty simple now, but I guess it was almost 40 years ago!
Brilliant. My favourite so far.
More diverse than I expected. Good.
Not as heavy as I was expecting, more 'light and shade'.
Not bad...but since I cannot speak French, hard to get into it.
If it's raining outside and you want to feel sad, this is the album. But today it's sunny, so I didn't love love it.
It was going well until Green Eyes. Glad I was listening to that on my own...
Bland. 2/5
Some good (eg: Personal Jesus), some not (eg: Sweetest Perfection). Overall, dry.
Great. But Free Form Guitar? That's a no from me.
Lots of radio hits. A couple of misses. A couple of good songs I forgot about. 4/5
The mood I was hoping for. 4/5
Can't really listen now without remembering the creepy Natalie Portman stories.
She had a great voice that could cut through the rest of the music.
Listen to Wonderful. This is when I decided no higher than two stars.
Ok
I dunno. Maybe this sort of thing broke a mold back in the day. Now it sounds average. 2/5
Couple of good songs. Otherwise a little flat. 3/5
