interesting concept and strong themes but very repetitive and not my thing overall

thought it would be good but each song was about a minute longer than it should have been and the vocals were largely uninteresting

there really wasn’t much with this album. it felt tiring to listen to because the only consistent aspect was the genre

I really liked this album!! Ray Price’s voice is great for this genre and the album was consistent without being repetitive

did not like this. i realise the sound it developed was influential for the genre, however it was just really unpleasant at times. a lot of the songs were about sex, which is fine, but they were really graphic at times and it was kind of off putting. didn’t mind river euphrates and where is my mind but the rest was bad to me

fun album overall. no songs i disliked but it didn’t stand out as amazing.
