Depeche mode is ok in low doses, used to listen to them moderately in high school

Remember when paradise city came out everyone thought it was such a dumb song and decades later I still think that. Tom waits "going out west" is harder than any gnr song

Not much variety, didn't care for it, basic 80's sound

British guys singing blues badly, many such cases. All the songs are 5 to 6 minutes.

I don't think there is anything interesting or appealing about this to me. Even the recording is uninspiring.

Listened to some later Beck stuff lately and he's fundamentally the same musician as always, he can write a catchy riff and beat, uses a lot of fun samples. It's not something I'd want to listen to a lot, but a beck song now and then is nice
