MachitoJazz again, with some nice bits but mostly I just didn't care about it. Clearly talented musicians, but not for me.

Last time my listening notes didn't save, as far as I can tell, do hopefully these will. Overall a decent album, not really my style but also not anything I dislike. Musically, it is well constructed, quite sparse at points but in a good way. I'm not sure if that's just the time period or specific to The Cars. I enjoyed how the different instruments were layered. I wasn't really impressed with the vocals, but then I don't think amazing vocals are always necessary, and they fit with the rest of the music. The harmonies are nice. Lyrically, I didn't pay that much attention (I never do). I don't think there was much to get my attention, either in a good or a bad way.
Nice enough. Sometimes it got a little repetitive, but overall there were no tracks I actively disliked.
This album is a bit of a mixed bag for me. I had heard a few of the tracks before , but none of those I really loved. So I was mostly interested in discovering the songs I didn't know yet. I think my favourite track is 'Under Ice'. A lot happens on this album and sometimes it's a little bit too much for me to enjoy it, but Kate Bush is a very talented singer clearly.
My main Beatles experience comes from listening to a few compilation albums my parents have, so I knew some songs from this album, but not all. In general I can acknowledge the massive influence the Beatles have had on music, but a lot of their songs are not what I want to listen to in my regular listening. I'm not sure what it is, because I do enjoy them. Just not enough. I would give this 3.5 stars so rounded it is ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is not my kind of music.
This is right on the edge of jazz I like and jazz I don't like. As such, I have mixed feelings about it. Some parts were nice, some annoyed me. In the end I give it a 2.5 rounded to 3
This is the first live album I've gotten and I don't care for it. Maybe if you're a fan of the artist all the talking is interesting, but for me it was entirely too much yapping. The music was okay, fairly standard rock. Nothing really stood out to me. With a point docked for being live, I'll score it a 2/5
I enjoyed the opening track but after that I was less enthusiastic. Nothing I really disliked but I just couldn't get into it. And lyrics were a bit stupid sometimes. This is not always something that bothers me, but in this case it annoyed me a bit.

This was an album that really did not move me much. In some songs, I didn't really like the voice of the singer, but overall nothing was horrible.
I liked this one! Folk is a genre I enjoy a lot and while I'm less familiar with traditional/older English folk, this was very enjoyable. Pentangle is not pure folk of course, more like folk-fusion, and the jazz influences where noticeable enough that it won't get 5 stars, but it's a very solid 4 stars. Favourite track: Either 'The Cuckoo' or 'Lyke-Wake Dirge'
