Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Jan 05 2025

Very folksy and chill. Banjos and shit. 2 tracks in though and it's apparent the lyrics are dogshit. Boring story telling. It's actually starting to piss me off how dogshit the lyrics are. I'm assuming the problem is he was too young to have lived much of a life or done anything interesting.

Pyromania by Def Leppard
Jan 06 2025

Bluesy 80s hair metal. Had me tapping my foot the whole time, but I did own this album as a kid so I'm deep down familiar with it even if I don't remember specifics about some of the songs. Decent background music.

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Jan 07 2025

You know, other than the hits most of this album is dogshit. Not too surprising from heroin addicted california junkies.

Kid A by Radiohead
Jan 08 2025

I owned this album back in the day. It's a classic. That's really all there is to say.

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Jan 11 2025

Live. I listened to the shortened album (around 30 minutes) and it was a good length. At one point Johnny sends the guards out to get him water and then replays the song with more risque lyrics. 5/5
