London Calling
The ClashEvery song is listenable, fun, has merit, and is directly about "something". For me, there are songs that are skippable but that's probably just a matter of taste. I don't like Ska.

Love this album. Rough, painful vocals juxtaposed with soft acoustics in a beautiful cacophony. No song should be skipped. Has to be one of the best live albums ever recorded. There’s a moment right before the final chorus of the last song. There’s a brief silence where you hear Kurt Cobain take a deep breath like he’s relieved he got through it and it’s the coolest thing ever.
Haven’t listened closely in a very long time. If a song from it comes on the radio or Spotify I tend to skip immediately without thinking about it. It’s just so ingrained that I didn’t feel anything towards it anymore. This site pushed me to look closer at it again. It’s really perfect. There’s a reason why it’s so hyped and why it’s considered to have changed music. One of those things in art where just everything about it comes in sync. Perfect blend of art meeting pop.
Yeah
I get why it’s here. I imagine nothing else sounded like it when it was released. It sounds very of that time and I’m not sure it’s aged well. I felt nothing towards it.
“Divided Soul” is still one of the best books I’ve ever read. A life with the most extreme highs and lows. Quietly, the classic tortured/genius artist. Totally reflected here.
