Raising Hell

American Girl is the big hit from this and it's obvious why. It far and away clears the rest of the songs which are a mixed bag in terms of quality and sometimes sound similar. Overall, a pretty good album.
A start I wasn’t to sure on turned into a great album! Loved it!
I really disliked the first half but the second half was really something
As good as ever
Very interesting. Feels like it should be talked about more amongst classic albums
Has a few nice and interesting moments, madam Medusa, burden of shame, and the strange fruit cover being highlights, but lacks a real punch to it in my opinion.
Morrissey is right on the pulse here, of something long dead. A couple of pretty decent songs, but mostly his least interesting melodies and his least playful or introspective lyrics. Poor attempt.
Pavement are the coolest
Great album, plenty of beautiful harmony and vocal runs but a real grit to it too. The only thing I really dislike is runaway child, running wild, as it turns into almost a parody of the genre.
There’s some good stuff and has a touch of humour that I love but doesn’t quite stick the landing. This is an album that I loved 6 or 7 years ago but by this point think is lacking a little.
