4 songs in - exactly what i expected it to be based on the era, artwork and band. Enjoying it but very easy listening pop rock... like i walk into Cheapo and they're spinning this for sure while i sift through the carly rae jepsen records
8 songs in - i listened to a lot of music that was derivative of this while growing up because my brother thought he was edgy so this isn't really doing much for me. While i don't think it's bad by any means, it so easily gets lost in the noise for me. With another listen or two, i feel like i might pick out more to enjoy but currently it's feeling very one note.
With that last note being said, I feel like this will be a solid 4 star album from me in the end since I can tell if i was paying a bit closer attention i'd be really into it.
