Van HalenThis is definitely an album that would be very fun to listen to while driving. Favorite song was either "I'll Wait" or "Hot for Teacher". I'm excited to give this album another listen!

The instrumentation on this album is beautiful and I really liked the vocal performances. I wasn't in the right mood to appreciate the lyrical content though. Favorite song: "Am I Blue?"
I listened to this album while watching the twilight turn into the night and it perfectly matched the vibe of the music. I think I will need several more listens to fully appreciate "Hail To The Thief", but I really enjoyed my first listen. I liked the contrast between the standard rock instrumentation and the otherworldly vocals and electronic elements. For the most part, it was difficult to make out the lyrics, and I hope future listens will help make them clearer. Favorite song: Either "There, There" or "Where I End and You Begin"
I liked the organs and bluesy guitars a lot. At first listen, I thought it was a decent album but not my favorite. Maybe it will grow on me with future listens. Favorite Song: Hyacinth House
I liked how this album has a large variety of sounds while still managing to stay cohesive. I was surprised at the switch up at "Sun King" through "The End" where the songs flow into each other instead of having a clear start and end like the first part of the album. The low point of the Abbey Road was "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" because it just drags on for too long without much progression. Favorite Songs: "Octopus's Garden", "Here Comes The Sun", and "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window"
I was surprised to find a live album on this list, but I was definitely not disappointed. Live And Dangerous is a very fun and high energy album that sounds like it would've been an awesome concert to attend. Favorite Song: "Dancing in the Moonlight"
This is my favorite Beatles album on the list so far. "All I've Got To Do" sounds a lot like "Tell Her No" by The Zombies. I think that song came out after "With The Beatles" though. Favorite song: "Please Mister Postman"
This is definitely one of my favorite albums ever. I have so many great memories with this album, and it is the perfect soundtrack for the autumn/winter. It's almost impossible to choose a favorite song, so here are three of them: "Blue Ridge Mountains", "He Doesn't Know Why", and "Tiger Mountain Peasant Song".
I didn't think I would like this album at all but I was pleasantly surprised. The mix between metal and more traditional music was pretty cool. There were a lot of great guitar riffs too. Still not quite my favorite kind of music, but I'm glad I gave it a listen. Favorite Songs: "Attitude", "Canyon Jam"
Thrash metal isn't really my genre, but there were still several tracks on this album that I enjoyed. Favorite Song: "My Last Words"
I didn't like this album very much. It really seemed to drag, and songs like "Automatic" were an ordeal to get through. Favorite Song: "Little Red Corvette"
I really like the unique fusion of sounds in this album. The dark and bass-heavy parts balance very well with the bright and melodic ones. Favorite Song: "Unfinished Sympathy"
Aside from their super popular songs like "Surfin' USA", "Good Vibrations", etc., this was my first time listening to The Beach Boys. This album was not what I expected at all. It addresses environmental and political issues and was more depressing than what I am familiar with from The Beach Boys. There are a variety of cool sounds and details on this album, and I think there may have even been some backmasking on a few tracks. Definitely worth another listen. Favorite Songs: "Feel Flows" and "Lookin' At Tomorrow (A Welfare Song)"
So many synths and drum machines! I'm actually not sure if there were any traditional instruments on this album at all. Luckily, I was a big fan of this fully electronic sound, and I enjoyed hearing all the different kinds of synthesizers. The melodies are catchy and the songs are memorable. Favorite Song: "Do Or Die"
Big nostalgia factor with this album. Favorite Song: "Clocks"
I really like the sound and energy of this album and every song is a banger. Favorite Song: "Hey"
There are lots of great glitchy and experimental sounds on Arular that I really enjoy. I think I still prefer M.I.A.'s later albums though. Favorite Songs: "Amazon", "Galang"
