Really enjoyed: In The Ghetto, Suspicious Minds, Mama Liked the Roses

Enjoyed An Empty Cup and Last night. The slower songs allow the harmonies to shine more which I particularly enjoy from them!

Love: Things Done Changed, Machine Gun Funk, One more chance "here to shatter your bladder", lmaoooo the Fuck Me interlude is something ELSE, Juicy obviously legendary, Everyday Struggle, Me and My Bitch (??romantic), Big Poppa (anthem), Respect (sick hook but the ending is unhinged lmao), Unbelievable

I get the appeal and once upon a time I think I would have enjoyed this but I kind of now just find it all mopey and droney. Definitely some beautiful synth backdrops but I'm just not a big fan of Smith's vocals. I did particularly enjoy The Same Deep Water as You and Homesick (incredible intro but again, I think I'd actually enjoy a fully instrumental version of the song more)

Enjoyed: Girl, Silent all these years (love her voice, great piano with a very interesting minor 7 arpeggio on chorus outro), Precious Things (Oh okay, there's range here!), Leather, Me and a Gun (whoah)

Wikipedia calls this psychedelic folk and I dig it. Love a Latino American folk artist Enjoyed This is the way, Dogs they make up the dark, This Beard is for Siobhan (love the repetitive motif at the end), Todo Los Dolores (false start is endearing and I love the song), Insect Eyes. Overall I really enjoyed this one and appreciate the artist's style. Totally new discovery for me and curious about his other works.

3.8 Enjoy Norwegian Wood (a quaint song about burning down a girl's home after she doesn't sleep with you), Drive my car (a bob about a girl being lucky enough to even get to drive your car), Michelle, etc. Fun album, fun to imagine it coming out when it did
