Sound of Silver
LCD SoundsystemWeird start. Has alot of repetition. 'Someone great' probably best song. Interesting mix of electronic music and rock. Decently fun. Semi cringe lyrics 😅 Last song is like a song from the Muppets

Funky, fun and groovey. Great first track. 'girlfriend' stood out track. Very dancy. Fun last song
Bangers from start to finish. Seriously, no bad or even mid songs. Love it. Mixes every genre with every kind of vibe. Bass player needs a raise. First half is absolutely amazing. Last song is kinda funny concidering how big the band is now 😅. 'Jenny Was a Friend of Mine' was a new one but definetly noted. Lowkey wanna say perfect album.
Seems alright. Not blowing my mind or anything. Hear heavy Rolling Stones influences. Ok, the last song actually got me now. Love the violin/cello?
Classic. Few songs that have heard many many times. Has a cool vibe and the singer has a great voice. That album cover is sick not gonna lie. Not sure if i like the amount of keyboard stuff. The guitar freaking soars. Alot of these have been pretty middle-aged white guy kind of music. Classic rock and all that. Would be nice to actually get something bit out of the box.
Has some charm have to say. Bit same-y with the song. John was clearly a pianist. Loved the bit more epic pieces. 'Indian sunset' was a facinating song. Need to learn the story behind the song if there is one. Has a good singing voice.
Alot of sounds. Kinda rave-y. Few decent songs, probably nothing i would actually listen in my own time. Did not hate it but did not really like either. The best song was 'One Too Many Mornings'
The man with the charisma. The moment he started singing you felt it. Loved the little banter he threw with the inmates. Also the moments he started laughing in the middle of the song. Made him feel human and approchable. Almost started laughing on the song where he was singing about the dog. So brutal but funny. Musicly it was just a man with a guitar but on his style, it worked just fine. Thought i would hate this coz i dislike country, but was happily mistook.
I dont care for her voice tbh. I first thought the singer was a man. Can image this playing in like a old ballroom. Its soul yes but still not resonating with me too much.
Jeesus christ, country music is the most boring genre for me.... Cadillac this, texas that, whiskey this, countryside that. Easiest genre to write lyrics. It tried to get bit more experimental like once in one song but it lasted like 10 seconds and then it was back to the same old sliding guitars. It's basicly like ok-ish dish with only spices and flavor being plain old table salt and nothing more. Not like vomit enducing but just so boring that you just play it in the background and leave it be.
Once again, not a fan of the singer's voice. The guitar is nice tho. Like how it soars. The bass is also good. The fuck is that album cover. Thought i would be a fan of Kings of Leon coz i like The Killers but seems like not so much. 'Day Old Blues' had a weird ass hook.
Fun i suppose. This is the kind of music you need to learn to dance to, to truly enjoy it. Would go well on a good sunny weather with a drink in hand. Tracks sound all pretty alike. Decent background music. Dont hate it but neither enjoy it with all my heart.
Artsy. Dont get the lyrics. Not the biggest fan of the singer. Experimental for sure. Felt like poetry with instruments. Nothing stricked with me too much. Most of the time i just felt like that im not either high enough or fancy enough to understand it.
Im on the edge about Bono's voice. Its kinda good but he also sounded like he lost control of his voice a couple of times. He is also raspy but im not sure if its by default or did he damage his vocal cords. Did not know U2 was a christian band. New York song was odd. 'Beautiful Day' is a beautiful song. That last song was a surprise. Really liked that one. That weird melody that plays few times is beautiful as heck. Best song in the album. Kinda cool dadrock album. I get the vibe. The guitars were awesome.
Sweet young lads i suppose. This is the time period where if the song was not about love or a woman (usually both) it did not get recorded. Bit too lovey-dovey and mating songs kind of vibe for me. These are the kind of songs that teenagers and young adults of that time would play at every single event where two genders of that time would meet in hopes of trying to get laid. Decent singing voices i guess. Does not hit too many strings with me. Maybe im too young for this kind of whatever this is.
Recogniced the first song from an old Dressman ad. Im starting to realize that im not a fan of organs/this specific sounding keyboard as a instrument. It sounds goofy and silly to me. Like circus music. Elevator music. Strikes no feelings whatsoever with me. Some of the most bland music ive heard in a while.
